FGRF Flood Relief

The Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) is a non-profit organization, contributing its welfare efforts in 65+ countries of the world. The organization always places a positive foot forward in case of emergencies to help and serve people across the world. The FGRF had a huge contribution to the flood relief campaign which struck on October 2022 in the Sindh and Baluchistan provinces.

Distributed Food & Water

The FGRF had set up the temporary kitchen, installed the fresh water pump, and provided clothes so that the flood victims can survive in that disastrous situation. The organization’s volunteers worked relentlessly, preparing and distributing food for the flood affectees. Moreover, fresh drinking water bottles were made available for the affectees.

The lovers of FGRF donated their hard-earned money for food, shelter, clothes and reconstructing damaged houses of the flood victims. Moreover, the FGRF received appreciation from the Chief Minister of Punjab for the ongoing welfare activities.

Flood Relief Package

The flood that struck Pakistan left thousands of people deprived of access to clean drinking water. They had no choice but to drink and use potentially unhygienic water, as there were no other viable solutions available to them.

The FGRF Representative Muhammad Adil Attari informed that the foundation’s delegation held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Faisal Fareed. During the meeting, both the Chief Minister and the PDMA Director General agreed to collaborate with the organization and offered full support from both financial and political perspectives.

Giving an overall briefing on the FGRF’s welfare activities, Adil Attari mentioned that the foundation had distributed cooked food relief packages to the people of flood-hit areas.

Aiding Affectees

The FGRF had dispatched health teams including veterinary doctors with medical supplies to the flood affected areas where they had treated patients and livestock. The organization arranged medicines, vaccines, medical apparatus, and first aid kits to provide necessary treatment to the affectees.

Moreover, the FGRF had set up emergency clinics and free health checkup centers where the medical staff worked relentlessly for the betterment of the people. The free medical camp for flood was necessary because the floodwater gave rise to several diseases that could cause serious illnesses among the flood victims.

Mosques & Home Repairing

The devastating flood caused significant hardships for the people of Pakistan, forcing the affected individuals to leave their homes in search of safe shelter. It was during this difficult time that FGRF stepped up to provide shelters for the flood victims.

Moreover, the FGRF took proactive measures to reconstruct the damaged houses, mosques, schools, hospitals, and other living places of the affected communities. Numerous individuals donated to FGRF for masjid construction and to help solve the problems faced by the flood victims.

Those who survived the flood and were living in temporary shelters expressed their concern about the lack of electricity or light, which affected their safety, privacy, and comfort. Some of those interviewed in the report mentioned that electricity had never existed in their area. In response to this, FGRF worked diligently to resolve these issues and provided complete care for the affected individuals.

Overall, FGRF's efforts proved crucial in easing the suffering of the flood victims and ensuring that their basic needs were met during this challenging time.

Fertilizer Distribution

The flood that struck Pakistan destroyed countless crops and agricultural lands. The FGRF promptly addressed this issue by supplying seeds and fertilizers, allowing farmers to start farming again. This seeds and fertilizer distribution proved to be a crucial step that helped farmers provide for their families once more. Additionally, they provided essential items such as seeds, special types of soil, and other necessary supplies required for farming.

Transparent Hands

The FGRF makes purchases of tents, heated clothes, fresh water gallons, rations, medicines, and other basic necessities for the affected individuals. Become a helping hand by donating to the FGRF. We accept flood relief donations through several channels, including bank transfers, Easy Paisa, and other cash transfer applications.

The FGRF is responsible for all actions and is highly conscientious in managing the flood relief funds received from different regions of the country. They have taken significant steps to reconstruct the damaged houses, mosques, and fields of farmers.
