FGRF automatically emails a receipt to your registered address within 24 hours of any online donation. For bank transfers, email donations@fgrf.org.pk with your transaction slip and we will issue a formal receipt within 3 business days. FGRF is registered under Section 2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 — your donations qualify for a 100% tax credit.
Yes. FGRF operates a dedicated Zakat fund managed in strict accordance with Islamic jurisprudence. All Zakat contributions are disbursed exclusively to the eight eligible categories (Masarif-e-Zakat) as defined in the Quran. Our Shariah compliance is overseen by an independent Shariah Supervisory Board. Select the Zakat option when donating on our campaign page or bank transfer form.
In our most recent audited financial year, 87.3% of all funds received were disbursed directly to programmes. 8.1% covered field operations and monitoring, and 4.6% covered administration and fundraising. Our full audited accounts are published in our Annual Reports. FGRF is a signatory to the Pakistan Humanitarian Fund Transparency Charter.
Yes, we welcome donor and media field visits. Please submit a visit request at least 2 weeks in advance via media@fgrf.org.pk. Our field team will arrange logistics and brief you on community protocols. Availability depends on the programme calendar and community consent requirements.
FGRF offers tailored CSR structures including named project sponsorships, employee volunteering programmes, payroll giving schemes, and co-branded campaigns. Community members seeking assistance should call our free helpline: 0800-FGRF during office hours. Emergency aid eligibility is assessed by our field teams based on need, location, and available programme coverage. FGRF does not accept aid applications online in order to protect beneficiary privacy and ensure fair assessment by trained social workers.
We love peer-to-peer fundraising. Email info@fgrf.org.pk with the subject line "Fundraiser Request" and we'll send you a starter kit with official logos, impact statistics, and sample messaging. All funds raised through personal fundraisers are transferred directly to FGRF and acknowledged in our quarterly donor reports.
